About Me

With over 20 years of hands-on experience in construction and maintenance, I founded Taylored Energy to deliver high-quality, reliable home improvement services across Edinburgh and beyond.

My core specialism is full kitchen and bathroom installations — from complete strip-outs and redesigns to supplying and fitting everything needed for a stunning, functional finish. I handle all aspects, including worktops (laminate through to granite and quartz), tiling, plumbing, electrics, appliance integration, and even stepping in to rescue or complete projects left unfinished by others.

I also collaborate closely with a trusted, highly experienced architect (30+ years in the industry) to guide you through extensions, conversions, and larger remodelling projects — whether it’s a single- or two-storey addition, garage/loft conversion, or internal restructuring.

Beyond major works, I’m highly adaptable and offer a friendly, fast-response handyman service covering:

Our main services cover full kitchen installations and renovations – including stripping out old units, fitting new kitchens, installing worktops (laminate, granite, quartz and more), tiling, plumbing, electrical work, appliance integration, and even rescuing or finishing kitchens left in a mess by others. We also provide complete bathroom refurbishments, from full strip-outs to creating modern spaces with new suites, walk-in showers, wet rooms, luxury tiling, underfloor heating options, waterproofing, and flawless plumbing and electrics. For bigger changes, we manage extensions and conversions, collaborating with a trusted architect (30+ years experience) on single- or two-storey additions, garage or loft conversions, internal remodelling, and structural work from foundations to roofing.
